This commissioned piece allowed for full artistic freedom, allowing me to create something the represents personal childhood nostalgia. Dedicated to the childhood memories from when I was able to feel the all encompassing liberation of freedom within my community. Similar to the mountain range I spent years visiting; foraging mushrooms, fishing, hiking, running around the woods with no shoes, unbrushed hair, and dirty clothes. A place where I felt free to express, to be adventurous and fully engaged in the moment.
